About Tabletop Tourist

Ohio's guide to game, comic & hobby stores — and the day trips that go with them.

What this is

Tabletop Tourist is a free map and directory of 195 game, comic & hobby stores across 99 Ohio cities — board games, trading cards, tabletop RPGs, comics, anime & manga, miniatures, and hobby & model shops — each with hours, events, and directions. There's also a Landmarks layer on the map: 27 nerd-culture points of interest (a cartoon museum, a giant pinball arcade, the house where Superman was dreamed up…) for the days when a store run deserves to become a proper trip.

How stores get listed

Every listing is researched by hand, store by store. Hours, events, and directions are checked against the store's own website and listings before a store goes on the map, and listings are re-verified over time — the "last verified" date on each store page is exactly what it sounds like. Stores never pay to be listed, and nobody can buy a better position. If a store closes or moves, we update or remove the listing as soon as we hear about it.

Suggest a store or a fix

Know a shop we missed, or spotted hours that have changed? Open any store's page and tap Suggest a fix — or email tabletoptouristus@gmail.com. Tips from people who actually visit these stores keep the directory honest.

Own a store?

Claim your listing — it's free, takes about two minutes, and gets you a ✓ verified badge, priority corrections, and a monthly email showing how many people found your store.

Why it exists

Because the best hobby days rarely happen at one store. They're a crawl: the game shop across town, the comic store you've been meaning to try, lunch somewhere fun, maybe a landmark on the way home. Tabletop Tourist exists so somebody has already done the homework — which stores are where, when they're open, what's on tonight — and all you have to do is pick a direction and go.
